An MHI O2/downpipe combo made for externally wastegated setups looking for increased flow rather than a direct bolt on.

Getting rid of the factory 2-bolt downpipe connection flange means it’s no longer a direct bolt-on, but allows the bend coming off the turbo to be greatly opened up for better post turbine flow. This is set up the same as the quick release downpipe that we offer in all of our manifold/hot parts kits. It ends with a flex section/bellow right by the transfer case area (that slips over a 3″ exhaust) to be spliced/welded to your current set up or a great starting point to build off from with all the hard parts done for you.

Flanged for an external 38mm MVS or 44mm MVR wastegate (please specify) and for a 1g/2g/GVR4/Early Evo/Colt etc (please specify).

Includes:
-Upper section flanged for your wastegate.
-Lower section that ends with a flex section/bellow.
-Quick release clamp.
-Optional dumptube (+$80) or recirculated (+$200).

Description

  • An exact fit with a gentle bend off of the turbine housing while still being able to service a 1g style oil filter.
  • 2.5″ mandrel bends off of the turbine housing transitioned to 3″ before going under the oil pan.
  • Quick release V-band, placed just before the oil pan for easy removal and serviceability.
  • Factory O2 or wideband (heatsink) bung available (often only room for one O2 bung without the 2nd added on the car).
  • A flex section/bellow termination point makes it easier to attach to your existing exhaust.
  • 38mm MVS or 44mm MVR wastegate provision off the O2/turbine housing.
  • 100% 304 stainless steel, 100% backpurged.

Dumptube available for +$80, or a recirculated external wastegate setup for +200.
